Roller coaster ride continues

Found myself booking tickets to Bangkok...All out of sudden am required to attend workshop for my newly boarded project...

Pretty crazy development....Well just play along first..And I'm going there alone 🙄

Well...Tonight have to sync up with technical concerns and luckily it's not a kamikaze trip. This is a centralized region project. Meaning there will be people from my company side and arrangements are being made to align...So Saturday night at hometown but still need to work man.

Life goes on..Something to cheer myself on that I came across in a magazine @Chua dental Beach st , Penang.

Baby e sure have grown up these days. She is more independent now...Thus chance to blog this entry hehe 

Unexpected kindness

Was surviving whole day without proper breakfast and lunch. But as it happened that way, wifey gave me 2 bananas in morning which I refused at first. But she insisted. These 2 became my lifesaver as i was hard pressed to finish up some work tasks.

My apprentice (I guess) brought me a mini snicker bar which somehow ended in my bag. And it became my only edible lunch while I rush through some correction in MS project. So ngam...Maybe god already has all these pieces arranged. But I'm thankful to these gestures from people around me.

I hope this ordeal doesn't go on indefinitely, it's driving me crazy. Hope it makes me stronger, and better. I will be better on next one. This one I will follow it closely..

Speaking on MS project, I'm very thankful for teacher Tre*** who taught me about this, seems like at least I'm half notch better than most I met.

It's my time of reflection and recollection to be thankful of what I get. Good night.

*Must say that my boss is treating quite well, supportive...Probably cause it's his area of expertise hahahah

Hiatus - 2017 & rip getfit2017

Things are getting rough at work. trying hard to survive..so i most likely will go into a blog-hiatus or hibernate mode. jogging plans under getfit2017 goals also in jeopardy now. pretty sad...

getting loaded with multiple roles at work....leader, member and now PM...oh dear x_x

Omaya Restaurant @ Subang Jaya

Finally get to visit this place for a friend's birthday party. It's quite famous now for it's korean dak galbi served with cheese - well famous as been heavily advertised in social media.

Oh-mai ah...parking @ Subang Jaya SS14 area is pretty rough. Better luck if you just park below the building than making a couple of turns around the shoplot blocks.

It's on 2nd floor and the construction themed decor starts now, and from outside you can see rows of chairs outside the restaurant for waiting guests and a number collection counter. One seating will have a timer, not more than 2.5 or 3 hours if i remember correctly, seeing that the place is quite crowded i guess that's a control point for the shop.

There is a 50% off promotion for each guest if they check in Omaya facebook page for above drinks only. This one need to validate at counter when we make payment later.

LKS dak galbi dish is probably the main one. The portion can serve up to 3 person and price pretty high.

The 2nd choice is the overkill dish we ordered. One table typically seats 4 person.

The actual dish here, also with some chicken dak galbi & cheese on it's side. Surprised that the instant noodle is there already to boil together.

There are so many staffs serving for the premise. This dish only needs to add soup & let both dakgalbi & soup boil. Pretty nice and special from ordinary dakgalbi/korean ramyun noodle if you haven't have an experience with one of these.

Drinks is a mixture of fruit juice with carbonated drinks. Nice for some people i gues, but for the price was expecting real juice.

Opps the LKS is an actual dish with real dakgalbi in middle of it, forgot to snap one photo before feasting. Mind you there is a lot of cheese so extra points for you cheese lovers. With this same setting, we get option to fried rice with galbi sauce & cheese at the end.

First add some onion, veges and galbi sauce.

Rice and then do a reverse nasi pattaya with cheese. Looks pretty nice, but taste-wise is only soso.

The trademark of the shop, chilli fried chicken with cheese. Not spicy, so not my type of hot wings.

Overall, this place is worth to visit for at least once. But it's a bit over-rated in my opinion still the crowd probably proved me wrong(?). A little pricey plus the long wait is a turn off to me. My preference is towards Uncle Jang if i'm looking for a less fancy dak gal bi meal haha :)

Bar-B-Q Plaza @ Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya

First time to this BBQ restaurant, and i think it's quite an ok place to go for a budget BBQ set meal. There is an offer for set lunch as below in 3 flavors - chicken, beef or pork. (yeap, non halal eatery).

Simple cheap & easy set meal.

Comes with free flow cabbage refill. If you are cabbage person, be ready to stuff yourself silly.

This is sweet sauce supposedly unique to Bar B Q, can mix with chopped chilli and garlic. Not bad, but not specially darn good.

The set comes with a bowl of garlic fried rice, one bowl of cabbage ready to be cooked.

This is pretty nice especially on very cold days.

Overall it's not a bad place to get budget set meals. But nothing really outstanding to point out either.
