Transfer from Shenzhen (major hotels) to Hong Kong Airport or Viceversa

This agent ZST & another named E&E probably specialize in transferring people from Huawei Training center & major hotels between HongKong airport and Shenzhen. We took the number and managed to make arrangement for a transfer pickup at Holiday Inn Express in Luohu Shenzhen to Hong Kong Airport to catch our flight . It's quite a hassle free experience via Shenzhen Bay. You can get them at HK airport as well at Terminal A12 upon arrival if not wrong, just ask around the area you won't miss it. (costs HKD 220).

Only costs us RMB 200 per pax and we get chauffered to Kingkey Banner Center (i think that's the name of the place and wait for our pickup of a 5-seater vehicle).

Here is mobile location i get. We waited a short while at the underground parking area.

Agency staff awaits here & we paid up to get our receipt.

The way down is their office & waiting area. This time we didn't go down there

Make a short journey towards Shenzhen Bay Port. (bridge between Shenzhen & HK).

Just pass by, not going through this building.

It's basically a bridge with 2 toll like facilities. The driver just do a drive-thru & simple inspection with customs. From Shenzhen is fairly quick & simple. No need to get off and no luggage bag inspection..

Have to fill up arrival form from SZ ...via land? At HK custom side, we had to wind down the door/window, to show our faces as part of inspection & a quick scan of flu/temperature by the officers on duty.

Once over, it's all a bridge crossing affair & some scenery along way.

 Here

 Here

And here.

At the center of it.

Reached Hong Kong within 2.5 hours which is quick considering we pickup at Luohu area which supposedly is faster by LoWu , but it seems like the agent only specialize in Shenzhen Bay area which is all fine by me since we are not headed to anywhere else except home.

Alam Floria @ Putrajaya

Due to time constraint, this gonna be more of a photo blog. Unfortunately this event ended on 5/June/16, meaning that you will have to wait till next year & for better weather to visit it again. It's pretty decent & decorations are well done. Kudos to the joint effort by various parties participating in the fest.

RM7.50 per pax. Integrated ticket printed at counter opposite the entrance. Take note there are few entrance, we took the one nearest to the bridge side, with parking space opposite the site. Half price discount for children below 6 yrs old i think and senior citizen >60 yrs old.

Poor carpark management. Have to mention, all cars come in & got stuck for some time & not much reason at all.

Careful at carpark area since it's old site. Some steel foundation stuck on ground. Very unprofessional work. they should clean up all these as it's real danger and hazard. Imagine people getting wounded by the rusted steel...terrible.

View from gate.

Simple entrance gate.

Not sure what this is. The ticket counter is opposite this.

This marvelous view greeting you at entrance.

Candy house

Some cosplayers, they appeared ~9.30pm. Pretty late ya.

Heading back into the snowy area.

See all the lights.

Lousy attempt at panorama

It's a rainy night.

There is a band playing at nearby stage.

Fairy tale themed property sales?

Based on Johor & Penang state theme.

Pokemon park?

This is another pretty famous childrens' book with a catchy rhythm. Pretty nice, another one added to Baby E's list. Some info on this book;

Simms Taback's Caldecott Medal-winning childrens book, Joseph Had A Little Overcoat, is animated in this excerpt from the video based on the book.

Credit to Raul for his works shared on youtube.

Raul voices over a song from the Scholastic video of the children's story Joseph Had a Little Overcoat.

Cafe De Coral @ Hong Kong International Airport

If you are craving some Hong Kong stuff and happened to be in HKIA, then you're in luck. Then hop over to Cafe De Coral. It's at the same floor as departure hall entrance and we even get to use the Octopus card to pay for our food.

This is above CDC

Across the Peak shop.

aeriel view

My order of Shrimp+pork wantan noodle at $35 HKD. Soup just ok, not too salty not too bland. The main focus is the wantan of course.

This milk tea costs me $10 HKD. Standard non sugar drink, add your own sugar to taste. You can grab your own Lee Kum Kee chili sauce or oil(?) i think to match your taste.

Side view.

Buddy's order of pork rib rice & milk tea. Octopus card has 1 chance swipe to go into negative. The next top will deduct whatever negative you 'owe' from your last swipe. Pretty handy if you are low on cash haha.

not sure what to make out of the logo.

Nice flavorful pork & fresh shrimp. Comparable to Mak's noodle actually. The noodle is nice but not exceptional. i found local Malaysian fried wanton noodle superior hahaha.

Overall this is a good place to get a bite of Hongkie food before we head off back. Price is considered average since it's inside airport. Just be reminded to keep trolleys off the shop area. They have a worker that just observes and keep reminding people to stop their trolley outside of the shop.
