This place is always crowded on weekends. Getting a table here is like going to war, no kidding here.
How to sum up this place: really good yam rice, pasembur, jawa mee & portuguese tarts
Location GPS: 5.3512803,100.4729884,15
People wait to pick their own plate of food @ the jawa mee/pasembur stall
Not yet try chicken rice, its also surrounded by customers
Sis-in-law had the spicy tomyam maggi - need to ask whether it's good.
Pasembur, already dug in, too late for photo!
Jawa mee - goody as well. You get big plate of noodle if you order big size.
Yam rice is yammy. Top notch taste, the dark soy sauce with chili is a must.
Pork meat + ham choi soup. Worth the 20+ min wait.
Chee Cheong fun, Penang style. Can add chicken curry as well. It's pretty decent.
Portuguese tart - if you don't mind lots of butter.
People
People everywhere.
The only thing i don't like is the crowd & heat. But it's worth the trip, so many good food here. You can opt to sit opposite the shop under the tree. But over there will have very poor service. Plates and tables you need to clean yourself & wait to order drinks for >20min.
