Just want to share below, received a call just now for a too good to be true insurance promotion. I kept delaying as usual & try to reject, but the lady was quite persuasive until she asked for my credit card number. *red alert*
NEVER share your credit card info over phone. Insist to check & call back later, according to bank it's legal for scammer/or non-scammers to charge your card if you shared the information.
Googled & less than 1 minute the number is verified as a scammer:
