Dinner in Huong Hai Hanoi Cruise

Evening on the cruise is followed by relaxing on the deck or anywhere on the ship you like except the navigation & kitchen area. Couldn't resist with DSLR photos that some finally got uploaded to Googlephoto. Sorry for being such a lazyass to download & upload via desktop hehe.

Evening view, goodbye sunny.

Moments before its descend.

This a real good evening sunbath.

Halong background.

Rock with trees.

 Another one.

Night view, many cruises anchored around each other, which i think is quite good in case of any emergency.

View from the little boat attached to the cruiseship for squid fishing at night. Pretty cold out here.

 Menu of the night.

Sloppy shot again

Starter with fries, squid ball and papaya salad. Normal ya, nothing to shout about.

Pumpkin soup. Well, i'm not a pumpkin guy so it's so-so only to me.

This is sort of a roll made of fish cake & eggs and some vege. Not bad

Oysters are fresh, but covered by too much garnish, peanuts & fried shallot + garlic.

Braised chicken is pretty good.

Fresh prawn, enough said. Yumm.

Chicken soup is at Vietnamese standard, clear & not too thick. Just right for me after the series of flavorful dishes.

I guess that's it on the dinner on cruise. There is a fruit platter at the end, but didn't get a shot of it and oh, on the cruise, we don't get water or drink for free during lunch & dinner. Need purchase from the crew. Help them earn a bit more income by ordering cocktails, or other drinks etc. We did however managed to get a glass of fresh milk for baby E by just asking the staff. Alternatively, you can bring over your free bottled drinks from the room. Strangely, on breakfast we did get a self service coffee machine to enjoy some, well as mentioned before probably just to earn abit more income especially from guai lou hehe.
