Foodpark by Parkson @ Maju Junction Mall

Maju junction foodcourt at LG floor has been renovated and with it comes new batch of food stall vendors. Weekday parking is at RM3 on first hour and RM2 top up each subsequent hour. Weekend is RM5 per entry. Be prepared to swing up few floors of spiral ramp before reaching car park area of the building. Level 3 of Maju Junction seems to still be in major renovation in progress.

Just right behind the famous Sogo shopping mall.

Drinks stall, or go & grab what you like from Parkson shelf just behind this counter.

This Foodpark is quite a neat idea, with not too expensive food at good atmosphere and decent hygiene. Food ranges from Thai to local fried rice, stir fry, noodles and western food. The foodcourt area is combined with rows of Parkson groceries stuff. Pretty interesting layout, which means that you can order food, take a seat where you like and walk over to pick up your favorite drink from Parkson and pay all in the same area. Neat.

Hey Mario black n white tiles, hehe

Coffee stalls, selling at hmm...slightly lesser than Starbucks price.

 Kitkats on sale

The thai food stall, browse the menu for more dishes selection

 Green curry noodle.

We went for Thai food stall, and was in somewhat hurry. So ordered everything from there. Green curry noodles is nice. Good creamy gravy and slightly less spicy. The tomyum soup with rice topped with fried egg seems to be favorite with many Malay patrons. It's real spicy, but really good. After first few spoons, i kind of got attuned to the spiciness level. Sweating but really enjoying it. Be warned of the spicy level of tomyum soup if you can't take spicy.

Too late, already dug in.

Portions of chicken meat is just so-so, a few more slices will make it perfect haha. We also ordered a normal fried rice which is quite big plateful for RM5.50/plate. The 2 other dishes mentioned are priced at RM7.90/plate. Beside the Thai stall is local fried rice stall with a long queue, looking at the price RM5.50 for a fried chicken fried rice..looks good and big portion too. Next visit food to try already queued decided.

Overall, quite good considering the location & price you paid for an indoor clean restaurant. The staff all prepared the food in open kitchen area where you can see them while ordering your food. At least you will have chance to can spot any hidden mickey, which i've not seen any signs of yet so far hahaha.

at RM1.60..meh..nothing new, more carbonated isotonic drink.

See you next time =)
