On first night of stay at Hanoi Old district, our accomodation is Authentic Hanoi hotel. Dinner is just 10 min walking distance from the hotel through a series of narrow roads with crazy bikers. Most likely the best local food are those by the alleyway on miniature stools and tables, but our stomach probably can't handle those food. Our dinner place, Hanoi M'cafe is a small restaurant attached to a hotel i think, with quite classy decorations.

Menu for the night.
Fried springroll, never dissapoints in Vietnam
Chicken & umm..grilled fish are both average
Clear soup, nothing to shout about
Mushroom soup. At this point, i noticed Vietnamese always struggle with food sequence...maybe they should remove the numbers from their menu. That probably solves part of the food sequence issue haha.
Pudding for dessert.
Flower basket
While i'm at it, just share along the Authentic Hanoi Hotel as well.

We are greeted by this real cherry blossom tree in a pot and some other local plants with interesting smell/fragrance depending on what you think it is =).
Oh darn, should've rotated it. But just to show that hotel card is available at reception. Take on and go out for adventure into the Hanoi streets, if you get lost at least you can ask for direction easily by flashing this. We found it's not really necessary though we walked out quite far.
"an khang thinh vuong" = prosperity , just like Chinese culture.
Restaurant for breakfast.
Dropped by at midnight to request hot water from the helpful staff. Most of hotel rooms water heater are dirty.
It's also a little cafe area, with less than 8 tables in total big and small included.
bad lighting + poor phone camera+ shaky hands

Pretty satisfactory hygiene level & neat presentation.
Computer section behind the lobby.
This is by the main entrance
This as well, cold weather can yield such pretty blooms.
Breakfast is pretty good here. With selection of bread, pastries, fruits and porridge/rice/noodles with some side dishes. Can also order for omelette.
Personally really like their chicken pho, nice clear soup with slight sweet and lemon zest. Add in the chili for more spice. Their fried noodles are also thumbs up, went for 2nd & 3rd refill hehe.
Wifi speed is pretty decent;
Complimentary 02 bottles of mineral water daily.
Free use of internet access in room and wifi through-out the hotel.
Unlimited usage of computer in business center.
Complimentary usage of GYM, Sauna, Jacuzzi & Steam bath.
Complimentary tea/coffee facilities in room.

Hotel rate is ~RM370 for a double bed room and onwards depending on type. The staff are helpful and friendly, rooms are comfy and clean. Good breakfast is really a plus here. The important thing here is it's location. On normal business days except Chinese New Year season, shopping and food is literally downstairs outside the hotel.
